Let your budding astronauts explore the stars during the Spring school holidays in September and October with a range of activities at Sydney Observatory.

Don’t miss Kids Extravaganza: Space Mysteries on 4 October at the Observatory where the whole family can explore space through a range of drop-in activities. Peer through telescopes, launch rockets, learn more about the planets and stars, plus so much more. Adults go free with kids but bookings must be made in advance here.

Or let your children become space detectives! The Observatory needs curious minds to answer the mysteries of the Universe. They’ll get to peer through special telescopes and get a close view of the Sun and engage in scientific experiments to solve some of the most significant space mysteries.

There are also a range of digital workshops to choose from where your future NASA engineers can learn how to code, become a space scientist for a day, create an arcade game or program robots.
