Parramasala 2019 Promises To Be An Epic Celebration Of Multiculturalism

Parramasala is one of the largest multicultural festivals in NSW. A vibrant arts and entertainment hub that features music, dance, theatre, comedy, film, markets and visual arts from around the world, Parramasala captures Parramatta’s wealth of diversity and folds it into a unique cultural event.

There's food, live music, a welcome parade, dance, and a host of festival highlights just waiting to be enjoyed.

The whole family can enjoy a wide array of workshops at Parramasala—from sustainable craft workshops such as Pacific Island weaving, Indigenous art with eel trap and spear making, plus recycled art workshops run by The Bower, to music and dance classes like West African Rhythms Drum and Dance to belly dancing and more!

The festival will also ramp things up with a brand new bustling food precinct offering a culinary passport to a mouth-watering array of delectable delights, and a bar area to kick back with a drink as you soak up the best of what Parramatta has to offer.
