Nature Illuminated: The Life of The Seasons

A festival of luminous botanical magic is set to light up our lives this summer! Prepare to lose yourself in one of Sydney's must-see events - the enchanting outdoor dreamland of Nature Illuminated.

A place is that is already blooming with majestic, tranquil beauty, Sydney’s Chinese Garden of Friendship will transform into an immersive spectacle of light and colour as it moves through an illuminating show that reflects the changing seasons.

With cutting-edge Augmented Reality technology and theatrical lighting, the Chinese Garden will be transformed like never before! Serene sounds of violins and cellos from a string quartet will fill the air, as you meander through the natural landscape, interact with the surroundings, embark on a treasure hunt and spot friendly forest sprites.

Running from January to March 2022 there will be various 60-minute sessions each evening throughout the season. You can also splurge on themed cocktails or a dining ticket that includes a premium Chinese banquet experience at The Gardens by Lotus, a gorgeous Teahouse-style dining space.
