Fresh air, nursery animals, and unique hands-on experiences in a gorgeous setting - Calmsley Hill City Farm is a great place to head to this Easter long weekend.

Sydney kids and families are invited to experience the very bust of rural Australia; get up close and personal with a range of native and farmyard animals including cow milking and kangaroo feeding! You’ll be entertained by sheep shearing, tractor rides and a stock whip show.
The daily schedule is jam packed offering farm-goers at least 3-4 hours of family fun- you won’t believe this backyard gem is so close to the city, or such great value-for-money. Here’s the daily run-down:

  • Animal Patting 10.30am
  • Morning Cow Milking 11.00am
  • Tractor Ride 11.30am
  • FREE time for lunch - Free electric BBQ’s are available or enjoy something from the Farmhouse Kiosk
  • Stock Whip Show 12.30pm
  • Working Dog Show 1.00pm
  • Sheep Shearing Show 1.30pm
  • Koala Talk / Ehibition 2.00pm
  • Tractor Ride 2.30pm (Extra $3pp)
  • Animal Patting 3.00pm
  • Afternoon Cow Milking 3.30pm

The farm also offers unique and really low-cost kids birthday party packages and overnight camping/farmstay options for your family – or get a group of friends together and make a night of it! Includes barbecue dinner and breakfast – collect your own chook eggs!

Located on over 400 acres, there is oodles of space for kids to run free in the beautiful grounds. This is a rare and wonderful opportunity for children to get a taste of life on a farm without having to travel for hours to get there.
