25,000 Plants With Bite Display At The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney

  • Mon Oct 01 2018 - Mon Jul 01 2019
  • $0.00

For a garden adventure like no other, head to The Calyx at the Royal Botanic Gardens where until July 2019, it will be overflowing with 25,000 magical plants with bite: comprising the largest vertical floral wall in the southern hemisphere.

The fourth FREE floral display to hit The Calyx, among the carnivorous greenery you'll find the most beautiful and most deadly plants in the world - from the Venus Fly Trap (watch it snap!) to the Drosera just waiting to grab a bite with its sticky fingers. Look out for the Pitcher Plants, waiting to drown their prey, little bugs with honey in their pitfall trap. Yikes!

The display is more family-friendly than it sounds - these plants might bark but they don't bite (humans, anyway!), and all will be intrigued by the activities on offer (like Mini Monster Plants) and the regular feeding display.
