Founded by ex-Canterbury Bulldog and Penrith Panther's player Tim Browne in 2017, the Leading Edge Rugby League Academy (LERLA) was designed to help bridge the skill level gap between Club and Rep level football.

The program is designed to help individuals improve in all aspects of their game both on and off the field.

Junior Academy:
U/6's-U/7's & U/8-U/10’s
This program designed for children 6 - 12 years of age focuses on the development of both fine and gross motor skills for both boys and girls. During the 45-minute sessions, students will develop skills in passing, catching, stable body positioning, footwork, running technique and tackle tech.

These 1-hour sessions focus on the transferring of basic skills and movement patterns into various game situations and scenarios. This program is a stepping stone into the Leading Edge Senior Academy.

Senior Academy (U/13s+):
The academy is for players with NRL aspirations. Its training methods are based on Tim Browne’s experiences and time in the NRL. The academy gives players the opportunity to train like a professional on a week-to-week basis and it is designed to help players reach higher level divisions within their local club and prepare them for taking that next step into rep level football.
