It might be 16,000 kilometers from Munich, but you'll barely even notice as this Yarra Valley suburb gets knee-deep into Oktoberfest.
With a massive beer hall and garden, food trucks, German entertainment, DJs and, of course, beer, the festival is a must for locals and Melbournites alike.
Imported and local beers, classic German-style eats plus best-dressed, pretzel eating and stein holding competitions (start training now).
