Sovereign Hill's Winter Wonderlights is back, and it's brighter than ever!

Step into a magical world where faux snow falls, fairy lights twinkle, and old-timey streets burst into colour with stunning projections and live music.

Winter Wonderlights Returns to Sovereign Hill

By day, explore Sovereign Hill’s gold rush history with coach rides, gold panning, and take part in hands-on crafts. As the sun sets, the whole village transforms into a winter wonderland. Wander through glowing gardens, catch falling snowflakes, and soak up the festive vibes with light shows, brass bands, theatre, and family fun.

You can also tuck into hearty winter meals, meet St Nick in his cosy grotto, and explore the diggings by firelight. Whether you're staying for the whole day or just popping in for an evening session, it's a truly magical experience.

Highlights on the 2026 Winter Wonderlights schedule:

• Main Street light projections from 5.45 pm

• 18km of fairy lights
