Weave a Christmas Card Workshop

Make your own colourful Seasonal Greeting Cards with Lydia Beshara at the Royal Botanic Gardens!

Join Lydia in the relaxed surroundings of the Plant Craft Cottage in this one-day workshop to make a gorgeous Christmas card. You will learn how to follow a pattern to weave your card using strips of paper. You will also gain new skills on how to draft your own patterns to create new designs for further weaving projects. No experience needed. All materials included. Take home your cards at the end of the workshop.

Suitable for both adults and teenagers . Morning tea and coffee provided. BYO Lunch. Limit of 10 per workshop so bookings are essential!

Lydia has Diplomas in Art and Horticulture and uses her passion for art, craft and plant materials to create unique baskets. Lydia is Basketry Group Coordinator at the Plant Craft Cottage, Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne and member of the Basket Makers of Victoria.
