The Sound of Shadows: Showing

Join ArtPlay's New Ideas Lab on an adventure through the music, art and food traditions of our nearest neighbours - Indonesia.

With artists Bianca Gannon and Ida Lawrence as you journey through The Sound of Shadows you will play and wear endangered food-related musical instruments such as the duck herders Bundengan, try out traditional shadow puppets, and sample delicious Indonesian food!

This performance involves sampling food - please make any allergies known. Please contact us if you or your child has a food allergy.

Age: 6 to 10 years 

Each child must be accompanied by an adult.

What you need to know

When: 10am - 11am, 11.45 - 12.45, or 1.30pm - 2.30pm Saturday August 3 and Sunday August 4, 2019

Where: ArtPlay, Birrarung Marr, Behind Federation Square 

Ages: 6 - 10 years

Cost: $16 per child, bookings essential
