Starlight❜s Super Swim 2020 In Melbourne
Starlight Children's Foundation (Starlight) are holding the Super Swim challenge for a second year in a row. The aim of the Challenge is to encourage Australian's to make a positive splash to give back to sick kids.
Held from 26 January through to 24 February 2020, participants will join a fundraising community of thousands going the distance for sick kids. By completing a swim at a location of their choice - either their pool, the beach or local swim centre, participants will raise funds to support Starlight’s vital hospital services including Captain Starlight and Starlight Express Rooms, which are available in every children’s hospital across the country.
Those taking part can track the distance they've swum, either manually or via a fitness app encouraging friends and family to show their support and donate for every kilometre or lap swum to help them reach their fundraising goal. Powered by Speedo, fundraisers will have the chance to win exclusive Starlight Super Swim challenge rewards including Speedo prize packs and branded merchandise.
Participants will also be provided with expert tips and training and nutrition advice from Super Swim ambassadors and professional athletes including Mick Fanning, Libby Trickett and Kieren Perkins.
To participate in the Starlight Super Swim challenge, sign up as an individual, squad or via your kids' swim school. Simply set up a free profile, start fundraising and go the distance - the bigger the splash, the more smiles you'll generate. Starlight's Super Swim challenge aims to raise more than $600,000 to deliver happiness to over 15,000 seriously ill and hospitalised children across Australia.
