Snow Ball Throwing At Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort This Weekend

Have you got what it takes to be crowned the title of National Snow Fighting champion?

This weekend, Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort will be hosting a modified Japanese Yukigassen Rules snow-fighting competition with teams to show off snow skills. The rules are simple, get hit by a snowball and you’re out - no skiing required!

The event is suited to all ages, with a kids competition (5 - 12 year olds) as well as youth & adults competition (over 13 years old).

Each team will be required to prepare their own ultimate snowball ammunition prior to the snow fight. The team registration is FREE for the 2019 competition however you will need to pay resort entry on arrival.

Mt Baw Baw's Alpine Resort is located 2.5 hours out of Melbourne, it's only a short drive away for a fun-filled weekend, plus claiming bragging rights amongst friends!

Current Average Snowfall Depth is sitting at 105 cm and Average Snowmaking Depth 115 cm, which leads into great preparation for snowball making!
