The perfect soundtrack to summer in the city at one of Melbourne’s favourite venues - the free Melbourne Symphony Orchestra concerts are absolutely not to be missed. This year marks 91 years of MSO free concerts, 60 of those at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, and promises good music and a fun atmosphere.

Presented in association with the University of Melbourne, the Saturday Night Symphony with Tianyi Lu - conductor - includes Berlioz - La corsaire, Satie/Debussy - Gymnopédie, Debussy - Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune, Fauré - Pelléas et Mélisande Suite, and the ever-popular Tchaikovsky - Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture

When: 5, 8 and 14 February at 7.30pm. Gates open at 4.30pm and entry is on a first-in, best-dressed basis.
