Sand Sculpting Australia and Boneo Discovery Park presents ANIMALIA IN SAND – the world’s first Sand Sculpting Exhibition with augmented reality technology.

Animalia in Sand brings to life the much-loved classic children’s book by Graeme Base through 26 giant sand sculptures created by some of the world’s most renowned sand sculptors. See the sculptures come alive through our innovative sand and screen immersive experience.

The kids zone is the perfect place to sit and relax while the kids enjoy the themed activities and workshops, or take off on one of the pedal boats and explore the sculptures from the water surrounds. There is a kiosk with drinks and snack in the kids zone or you can head across the water and take a seat at the lakeside café, this is also where the kids can burn off some energy on the jumping castle.

Moving from Frankstone to the new location at Boneo Maze has the added benefit of an incredible 27 acres of wetlands, gardens and mazes all included in your ticket price. After exploring the world of Peter Pan you can take a walk through the boardwalks, get lost in any of three mazes or play the giant games in the back garden.

For those wanting more you can add a game of mini golf, take a ride on the mini train, beautiful vintage carousel, bungee tramps or challenge yourself on the rock wall. With so much to see and do it is easy to spend the entire day with the sand!

Open Dec 14th 2019 – April 30th 2020 at Boneo Discovery Park on the Mornington Peninsula.
