Road to Zero at Melbourne Museum has five-star rated fun for the whole family this January.

During the free workshops inquisitive youngsters (aged 4–10) can make a cardboard car model that has a five-star safety rating. Older children (aged 8–13) can apply their powers of persuasion to making a TV ad about the importance of vehicle safety using Road to Zero’s high-tech touch screens, then submit their masterpiece to win the weekly competition prize pack valued at $200.

The activities introduce children to the importance of vehicle safety features and the message that ‘more stars mean a safer car’, i.e. cars rated five stars by the independent Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) provide greater protection to drivers, passengers, motorcycle riders, pedestrians, and others road users.

Booking are recommended via www.eventbrite.com.au but walk-ups are also welcome.
