Chug along and have a "toot" of a time at the Public Open Day at Altona Miniature Railway.
The public days are held every 3rd Sunday of the month offering a 1.5km track of choo choo fun on miniature steam and diesel engines. The next public day is on 16 July from 11am till 4pm. Tickets start from $3 a ticket.
Altona Miniature Railway (AMR) is a hobby club run by members offering many types of different trains to ride throughout the day. AMR can also be booked for private events including birthday parties and corporate events.
Other facilities include picnic areas, park style BBQ and a coffee van serving great coffee, cold drinks and snacks on public days.
