Ocean Invaders is an up-close encounter with one of the most intriguing enigmas of the sea - the jellyfish. The interactive installation is home to thousands of jellyfish and covers 300 square metres with three multi-sensory zones, striking lighting installations to hands-on activities all dedicated to this gelatinous aquatic wonder.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of a rare jellyfish invasion as you stroll through the cylindrical tank of oscillating sea creatures and behold an amazing transparent globe full of serene sea life. The multi-sensory experience will captivate ocean lovers with it's enormous displays and extensive range of species including the blue blubber jellyfish, the upside-down jellyfish and and sea nettles.

Visit the Jelly Lab to discover strange facts about the jellyfish lifecycle and watch SEA LIFE Melbourne staff tend to the blooms of these graceful (and sometimes dangerous) sea creatures.

Finally, pop in to the Art Aquarium where kids can design their own colourful jellyfish and see it come alive on a giant wall projection!
