LUMAS Gallery turn 6, and add 86 new, highly collectable limited-edition artworks to their growing portfolio.

Fine art photography gallery LUMAS are adding 23 newly discovered and emerging artists, and 86 hand-picked new editions to their portfolio. The first-time preview exhibition will take place at their flagship gallery in Richmond on Saturday 31 July 2021, which coincides with the gallery’s 6th year birthday celebration.

The event serves as an opportunity for LUMAS Gallery to invite their clients, the wider public and media to celebrate the momentous occasion and take part in this event. Drinks and coffees are provided. RSVP is a must due to current Covid restrictions in Victoria (pending Victoria’s restrictions easing in time).

Among the new works that will be exhibited is a photography titled ‘Tondo 1’ by Belgian artist Isabelle Menin from her series "Distorted Nature". With inspiration from many art forms, architecture, painting, film, and fashion, Menin’s stylised works have drawn comparisons to Flemish classics. To achieve this style, she photographs the flowers individually before placing them in the arrangements that they are presented in. Having exhibited at the Louvre Museum in Paris, Menin is certainly one of the must see at this opening.

LUMAS are very pleased to be adding the work of Anton Sparx to their portfolio. Sparx works under a pseudonym, maintaining his privacy and anonymity. His works are multiple images combined and printed in lenticular style, achieving a “moving effect”. This one is a must see. Highlights from the new releases also include two visually rich portraits of animals from Claudio Gotsch, Paul Fuentes, and Mikhail Kirakosyan. Sebastian Magnani has also added new works to his Batman series.
