Gertrude St Projection Festival
- Fri Jul 26 - Sat Aug 03 2019
Again the streets of Fitzroy will be lit up this winter across the nine nights of the Gertrude Street Projection Festival.
As Australia’s longest running projection festival, they have a reputation for discovering artists, uncovering places, exploring ideas and bringing together locals and visitors by night to experience playful, thoughtful and inspiring new media work.
Digital media and contemporary projection works will span the length of Gertrude Street as artists explore themes of desire, disruption and subversion. They urge us to seek to forge alliances, encourage us to persist, and embrace the world of difference
