Fun Craft Workshops At Roola Boola Children❜s Arts Festival This Winter Holidays

There's a range of craft workshops for kids to enjoy these Winter school holidays as part of the Roola Boola Children's Arts Festival in Melbourne.

The Rainbow Fish and Toc Toc Hand Drums Craft Workshop

Listen to the magical story of The Rainbow Fish and create your own rainbow fish using beautiful papers. Children will also decorate their own toc toc hand drum using confetti, sequins and pom poms. Suitable for ages 0-4.

Neon Forest

An immersive play space filled with tactile objects, engaging lighting and mysterious sound. Weave through a canopy of neon tree tops, explore a forest of bendy glow wires, encounter interactive lights, or engage in facilitator led games to find hidden objects. Participants are free to play and explore at their own pace. Suitable for all ages, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The Neon Forest is an accessible activity with gentle sound and no bright, flashing lights.

Dream Catchers Craft Workshop

Unleash your creativity at the dream catchers workshop. Children will create their own dream catchers using a timber frame, beads, yarn and feathers to hang up in their own rooms. Suitable for ages 5 to 7.

Mini Domes Craft Workshop

Kids will use their imagination to make mini worlds out of recycled milk bottles. Children will have access to a number of inspirational picture story books and will use a variety of materials to make their domes including cardboard, foam, pom poms, thread and textured paper. Suitable for ages 7 to 12.
