Coder Academy Summer Holiday Program 2017

Accelerate your kids' coding knowledge & experience this Summer school holidays in Melbourne's CBD with one of the amazing programs at Coder Academy.

Your kids will learn and have fun with Coder Academy's fabulous school holiday programs. Whether they are interested in coding, game design, VR or wearables, Coder Academy have a program for you! Watch them transform from technology consumers to technology creators. Highly trained staff will provide kids with a range of experiences designed to fire their passions and ignite their creativity.

Ages 6-9yrs
A week full of coding, creating, smashing, designing and gaming. They encourage learning through play; by setting STEAM based challenges young minds will be exploring, practicing and learning essential skills for the digital age. Each activity will run for 75 minutes with short breaks in between to explore the scavenger hunt set up on campus.

Ages 9yrs+ or 12yrs+
A week full of coding, creating, smashing, designing and gaming. A variety of STEAM based activities will be running each day to suit a wide range of interests, you can pick and choose 2 activities per day. You will spend 3 hours per activity with breaks in between where you can explore our campus, ask questions, complete the scavenger hunt for prizes or chill out in the donut beanbags. 

Ages 12yrs+ Social Techpreneurship Program
Coder Academy have teamed up with Young Change Agents to bring a youth social entrepreneurship program for students aged 12-18yrs. Participants will be taken through a tech immersion day and social problem-solving techniques which they will then use to create a product or service to bring positive change to the future. During the week they will learn skills used in start-up incubator programs as well as tools needed to bring their idea to life through coding, 3D design and virtual reality. A week full of creative and critical thinking to empower the future entrepreneur.
