Chocolate Family Adventure Day

Clear the calendar and maybe skip the morning biscuits, because Chocolate Family Adventure Day is a full-flavoured little mission through Docklands with clues to solve, chocolate to make and pancakes waiting at the finish line.

What the Chocolate Adventure is All About

The story starts in Choco-opolis, where Mayor Mr Sweet needs help getting the town's chocolate machine working again. The Fluffernutters have messed with the start code, so kids are sent off on a chocolatey quest to crack the clues and help save the day.

The adventure begins with optional themed activities to do at home, a cute way to build excitement before you even leave the house. Once you're out and about, families stop by a cafe for a coffee or hot chocolate and pick up their quest card before heading to a chocolate gallery for a hands-on painting activity.

What's Involved

This is a good activity for kids who like a bit of structure with their treats. There are clues to follow, chocolate masterpieces to create and a family-friendly lunch included, with both sweet and savoury options on the menu.

There are also bonus activities tucked into the day, including a nearby playground and extra themed fun you can keep going with at home. So yes, the chocolate is the headline act, but there is enough happening around it to make the outing feel like more than a quick sugar stop.
