This winter, ACMI is turning up the heat with the world premiere of Beings, an electrifying exhibition by the renowned art and design collective, Universal Everything.

Beings brings together 13 mesmerising artworks from Universal Everything's 20-year journey, featuring four brand-new pieces making their debut. Beings is an immersive playground where you can move, dance, and play to bring curious, code-born characters to life on massive screens.

Prepare to be dazzled by vibrant, large-scale projections that toy with movement, emotion, and colour. And if you're curious about the magic behind the scenes, you'll get an insider's look at the creative process, complete with hand-drawn sketches on display for the first time.

Bring the whole family along and get ready to engage with captivating creatures that respond to your every move. Discover how cutting-edge technologies transform simple lines into fantastical, ever-evolving beings. Witness the debut of four new artworks, including interactive installations and collaborations with choreographer Benjamin Millepied and the LA Dance Project.

Universal Everything uses emerging display tech to create digital wonders that challenge traditional CGI and gaming graphics, crafting unique, real-time experiences for every visitor.
