If you are looking for a creative experience for your little ones, then head to the Brisbane Powerhouse every Tuesday for Powerkids:  Little Artists at Play, a creative multi-arts experience for children aged 0-5 years.

Enter a land of boxes, a world of sounds, a platform for play!

In this immersive and surprising world, kids can explore the sound of their own voices, have wild world adventures and create textured soundscapes. This program is a free half hourly session for children 5 years and under.

The most recent activation for Powerkids: Little Artists at Play is called Chatterbox and was developed by Amelia Kalifa in a QUT Creative Industries collaboration. Chatterbox will inspire old and young to tune in, play with words, roar and babble while exploring a cardboard world of imagination.

Powerkids: Little Artists at Play is a collaboration between Brisbane Powerhouse and Imaginary Theatre. Imaginary Theatre is a Brisbane based company creating outstanding art and arts experiences for children aged 0–12 and their communities. They engage children and families in contemporary multi-art form experiences that sit on the intersection of childhood, creativity and community. Over 70,000 people have seen or participated in Imaginary projects since 2006 in Queensland, nationally and internationally.
