An ambitious 6-year-old boy applied for a job posted by Legoland Windsor seeking model makers, claiming he was the "best man for the job."

The hilarious application submitted by Stanley from Hampshire read: “Dear Sir/Madam, I am six years old and I love Lego and have a box of it. I hide my Lego so my brother can’t get it. I am the man for the job because I have lots of experience. Love, Stanley”

The Bold Letter Scored Him A Position

Legoland replied to Stanley's application: “Loving Lego is the first step to being a model maker, so it certainly sounds like you’ll be perfect for the job (once you’ve finished school of course). In the meantime, we’d love to offer you a one-off work experience day with our model makers.”
It might not compare to the "competitive annual salary" and 20 days of holiday pay that Stanley was after, but his day of work experience at the theme park looked pretty fun to us.

He shadowed Legoland staff member Paula Laughton for a full work day, carrying out checks and repairs on Lego models throughout the park, and getting an exclusive behind the scenes tour- a little Lego lover's dream come true! According to BBC, Stanley, who is now 7, said: "It was awesome to spend the whole day at Legoland meeting the model makers and learning all about what they do every day. I loved it and I can't wait to tell all my friends about it at school."

Legoland might not have seen the end of Stanley, with Laughton saying: “We were thrilled to reward Stanley’s initiative and ambition by inviting him to the park for work experience. Stanley showed great promise, so we hope this will inspire him to work really hard at school as the new year starts, and will look out for his job application when he’s a little older.”

The moral of this story is: when in doubt, submit that application!
