Caregivers can keep track of temperature whilst the sick child or person gets some much-needed, uninterrupted rest. TempTraq comes with multiple single-use patches that simply need to be stuck onto your child’s underarm area, and monitors temperature via a free smartphone app for up to 48 hours. If you wake in the middle of the night fretting, parents just have to check their phones, and see instantly how little ones are holding up. It can, as the video describes, monitor how well your child is responding to specific medication too, so you’ll be able to find the one that best suits them. Whilst there are only products available currently with 24 and 48-hour monitoring capability, according to Digital Trends, they are creating a 72-hour patch for use in clinical settings to make professional caregivers role a little bit more convenient.
The TempTraq is currently available for purchase online at u-buy for just AUD $24.
