Alcohol-infused ice blocks are the treat you need to cool down this Summer. The internet has gone pretty crazy hearing about these babies making their way down to Sydney slowly but surely, and we have some good news to share on that front: they are now available!

We are still waiting for POPS, a London-based business to deliver their version of these refreshing delights to Sydney and Melbourne, but thankfully, iyc pop is popping up all over our beautiful (and thirsty) city. Flavours include:

  • White peach and lychee bellini

  • Black cherry amaretto sour

  • Summer pear and elderflower mojito

  • Watermelon and rosewater martini

Popping Up All Over Sydney

Not only are they available for purchase at the Frisco Hotel Woolloomooloo, Ravesis Hotel Bondi, Flying Bear Cafe Kirribilli, Poolside Cafe at the Andrew Boy Charlton Pool, Holiday Inn Old Sydney at the Rocks and Spark*d Events in Terrigal, but there are some exciting pop-up shops where you can fix all your tipsiness-inducing popsicle cravings. Starting TODAY until the 27th, the Old Clare Hotel in Chippendale will be giving iyc pop a special spot in their bottleshop, as well as pop-up stores in Westfield Chatswood in February, and the Taste of Sydney food festival in Centennial Parklands in March. They’re retailing for $7…much cheaper than a cocktail at least.

You’ll have a real excuse not to let your child have one of these…

To enjoy at home: Make a Nutella martini today, or even a chilled glass of Watermelon & Vodka Frosé.
