The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra invites YOU for an interactive musical adventure exploring Felix Mendelssohn’s vibrantly vivid, vivacious, vital and volatile Violin Concerto!

The Orchestra, presenter Thea Rossen, and special guest soloist Ray Chen will guide you through the 35-minute Jam. Bring your clapping hands, your singing voice and stamping feet to join in as you discover Mendelssohn’s marvellous melodies and rousing rhythms.

Your adventure continues after the show when you’ll step out of the concert hall and into a wonderful world populated entirely by the curious creatures of the orchestra.

The MSO instrumental petting zoo gives you and your family the chance to see and hear all your favourite orchestral instruments and musicians up close.
