Journey to Pluto

Launched in 2006 and flying by the dwarf planet and its moons in July 2015, the interplanetary space probe sent us not just data but gorgeous images of these beautiful and distant celestial objects.

In conversation with Emmy Award winning-journalist Sara James, Alice will discuss the details of this extraordinary mission and what it taught us about deep space exploration, about physics, about human audacity and ingenuity, and about the remarkable teamwork and collaboration necessary to accomplish such a feat.
