Hear a Blak Book Read To Children At the Blak & Bright Literary Festival

Blak & Bright is a First Nations Literary Festival based in Melbourne, a four-day showcase which celebrates the diverse expressions of First Nations writers, covering all genres, from songs to essays, oral stories to epic novels, and from plays to poetry. 

On September 7, the divine Maurial Spearim, actor and playwright, will read a selection of adorable, funny, poignant and thoughtful Blak children’s books in the special nest of the Ngarara Place garden at RMIT.

Two sessions suitable for different ages.
From 12.15 to 1pm, stories for children aged 3 to 5.
From 1.15 to 2pm, stories for children aged 6 to 8.
