What❜s New At Wet❜n❜Wild Sydney in 2016/17

Wet’n’Wild Sydney is back for it’s fourth season, and it’s better than ever! Wet’n’Wild asked Sydney families what they wanted this Summer- and boy, did they listen! With a heap of improvements to the park and new attractions to make your visit even more fun, Wet’n’Wild is undoubtedly the hottest place to cool down.

Dinosaur Lagoon

If you want to take a break from your big day of fun and adrenaline pumping action- then head to the brand new Dinosaur Lagoon At the centre of the lazy, winding 500m river, you’ll be confronted by 9 interactive animatronic dino’s from the prehistoric past. You’ll be transported back in time more than 65 million years, coming face-to-face with enormous herbivores and fierce carnivores. There are also 3 dig pits, so get comfy in a soft tube and get floatin’ on down as the water gently pushes you onwards.

Learn To Surf

For children aged 6 years and up, take advantage of Wet’n’Wild’s brand new experience: surf lessons in the wave pool! The instructors are all qualified instructors from Surfing NSW, so it’s a great way for kids to hone their skills in a safe and controlled environment! The best part about learning to surf at Wet’n’Wild rather than the open ocean is that the instructors can control wave height, and switch the waves on and off. With wave sizes of about 1-2 foot high, no little surfer will be out of their depth. Consider this experience for a birthday party, school group, school holiday camp, or ladies/mother’s group.

Tap’n’Play

To help make this season the best ever, Wet’n’Wild have introduced Tap’n’Play - the technology helping you to queue less and play more! Tap’n’Play is FREE to everyone with their MyBand, and basically reserves your ride at a time slot that suits you so that you can enjoy the park, and return when the slide is ready for you. Visitors can even opt to purchase Tap’n’Play Express that cuts waiting time down by 50%, and Tap’n’Play Priority that reduces it by around 90%! Check out the video below to see how it works.

New Eating Options

All that sliding around builds up quite the appetite! Treat your tastebuds at the all new Village Bean Coffee House for a delicious wrap or mouth watering cake- and of course, great coffee!

Overlook the park with the brand new menu inspired by Tex Mex at The Surf Club Restaurant, where you can grab a burrito, nachos, fish tacos & lots more.

For a sweet yet healthy treat, head to Sweat Treats to make use of the self-serve frozen yoghurt machine where you can get delicious toppings for free.

Pretty Shady

Families asked for more shade – so that’s what they’ve been given! Wet’n’Wild has installed more yellow and white umbrellas throughout the park to give families a retreat from the heat. In addition to the extra shade, they have also extended their opening hours this season so that they’re open every day over Christmas, excluding Christmas Day!
