Leichhardt Pool and Aquatic Centre

The Leichhardt Pool and Aquatic Centre is a really family friendly venue with classes and pools to suit all ages. The Centre had a recent upgrade so all the facilities are in great nick. There are 6 swimming pools (!)  including indoor heated and outdoor heated swimming, children’s pools, a dive pool and the very popular Learn to Swim Classes. Our favourite is the outdoor mushroom pool – it’s shallow and specifically designed as a childrens aquatic playground. Out of the water, the Centre has a new state of the art Health and Fitness facility with over 90 weekly classes ranging from Yoga and Pilates to Zumba, Pump, Aquarobics, Cardio Boxing and Spin cycle. They also run run active and fun children’s fitness with  ‘Fit kids’ class and children’s martial arts. We love a fitness centre that has a creche and LPAC’s is one of the best with play areas inside and out and a dedicated sleep are for nap time, you can work out or swim totally guilt free. The Blu Aqua Kiosk has good coffee, great views and surprisingly healthy food options for kids and there’s plenty of FREE parking right next to the centre, adjacent to the Leichhardt Oval.
