Glenbernie Family Farms promises a memorable day out for families, located just one hour northwest of Sydney. As one of Sydney's favourite flower farms, they've got wildflowers aplenty, animals, markets, kids' activities, plus, they offer a stunning backdrop if you're keen for a family snap or two.

Where is Glenbernie?

Glenbernie Family Farms is nestled in picturesque Kurmond in the Hawkesbury region, just one hour northwest of Sydney

This family-friendly haven is the perfect spot to immerse yourself in a vibrant sea of sunflowers while also seizing endless photo opportunities at the ultimate Instagram-worthy destination. There really are so many natural wonders to explore around the flower farm!

Things to Do at The Farm

Flower picking is on the agenda at the farm so bring your sectaurs! Home to fields of utterly stunning Australian native daisies, the farm welcomes visitors to take pictures amongst the daisies and enjoy picnics within the grounds. The farm also grows gorgeous Italian Ranunculus.

Sunflower Picking at Glenbernie Family Farms

The sunflowers at Glenbernie Family Farms are undoubtedly the main attraction and for good reason! The flowers cost $5 a stem so you can take home a stunning bouquet of sunflowers—with multiple colours available (who knew sunflowers came in other colours!?). You can also take whimsical photos amongst the sunflowers, creating family memories to treasure forever. 

Meet the Animals

Glenbernie is also home to baby highland cows, and you're invited to meet them. Their VIP Highland Cow Experience is for ages 8 and up and offers a personal meet-and-greet with the fluffy cows where you'll get to feed them treats, and learn about their life on the farm, plus, you'll gain entry to the farm for the whole day, 10 free flowers, and free coffee and hot chocolate!

There are also goats, alpacas, cows, and other farmyard animals eager to meet you.

Location & Opening Hours

Glenbernie Family Farms is located at 610 Bells Line of Road, Kurmond—just one hour northwest of Sydney.

The farm is open Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 3 pm, and no bookings are required. 

Entry costs $15 per adult and $8 per child aged 4-16.
