Through collective contributions of visitors of all ages, it will build over the course of the holidays. You can add to the growing installation and take part in storytelling sessions, origami, wishing cards, musical galaxies and colourful weaving.

Tanabata is a Japanese fable which tells the story of two stars, Orihime the cloud weaver and Hikoboshi the cow-herder, who came to fall in love and live in the night sky. Weave your own story in this collaborative installation. Japanese origami artist Midori Furze will visit the Powerhouse Museum for origami workshops each weekend.
