Celebrate World Soil Day at Centennial Park by joining Dirtgirl and Costa the garden gnome in the Great Mud Pie Bake Off on 5 December 2015 for FREE.

Get busy and dirty by trying to break the dirtgirl world record for the most amount of mud pies made in one day! Make sure you wear your grubby clothes. Bring along your mud pie making tools – wooden spoons, pots and pans, things to squish mud through, and mix it up for mud pies!

Everything comes from soil! Our food, our clothes… so many things we use everyday, all start out in the soil. So it’s important to celebrate the amazing job it does, and learn about how we can do small things that will keep soil healthy, in our own backyards, in community gardens and parks and schools… everywhere! Dirt rocks!

Ages: 6yrs+
When: Saturday 5 December, 7am-11am
Where: Behind the Centennial Gardens Parklands Education Precinct
Cost: FREE
