These school holidays are the perfect time to discover art in surprising places!
The 20th Biennale of Sydney, Australia’s leading contemporary art event, is now open! Featuring more than 80 artists from 35 countries across seven major venues as well as various ‘in-between’ spaces around the inner-west and inner-city of Sydney, the 20th Biennale of Sydney is presented FREE to the public.
Venues include: Cockatoo Island (Embassy of the Real), Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (Embassy of Translation), Art Gallery of New South Wales (Embassy of Spirits), Artspace (Embassy of Non-Participation), In-between spaces, Mortuary Station (Embassy of Transition), Mobile Book Stall (Embassy of Stanislaw Lem) and Carriageworks (Embassy of Disappearance).
Join us during the school holidays in the Public Program and Education Hub on Cockatoo Island for art-making workshops! Drop in during session times for make-and-do activities inspired by the artists on Cockatoo Island.
Where: Public Program and Education Hub, Building 124, Cockatoo Island
When: 19 – 23 April, 11am – 1pm, 2 – 4pm
Cost: FREE drop in, no bookings required
Unleash your creativity in this collaborate art-making workshop held every school holiday. Drop-in during this week-long program.

Cost: $5 donation per family is welcomed, drop-in, no bookings required
