Teachers GO FREE At Featherdale and MOGO Wildlife Parks In August
- Sat Aug 01 - Mon Aug 31 2020
During the month of August, teachers get in for FREE at Featherdale Sydney Wildlife and MOGO Wildlife Park!
To celebrate Education month, Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park will be strengthening their incursion and virtual education experiences so they can continue to provide all students with the chance to learn and engage more with Australian native wildlife.
The month-long EDUCATION MONTH event will offer:
- Threatened Species Schools Challenge – Classes are invited to ‘Design A Habitat’ for a Featherdale threatened species, with submissions due on 31 August 2020. Four winning entrants will be announced on this year’s National Threatened Species Day, Monday 7 September 2020, and will win a virtual education lesson for their class delivered by Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park’s education coordinator in September 2020.
- Zookeeper Chad will be bringing back his popular ‘Ask A Zookeeper’ series across Facebook and Instagram to engage students and animal lovers with the animals that call Featherdale Sydney and Mogo Wildlife Parks home.
- New Virtual Keeper Talks – a great educational resource and thought starter for teachers to use in their classes about Australian wildlife.
