As part of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra’s special family concerts package, James Morrison will be holding an afternoon of jazz and fun for kids curious about the world of music! Kids will hear all the amazing sounds you can make with a symphony orchestra and some new experimental sounds. Unlike other concerts, kids are encouraged to stand up and dance in the aisles to fully immerse themselves in the music as they listen to jazz hits like ‘Basin Streets Blues’ and a funky rendition of ‘Birdland’. It’s the perfect way to encourage a passion for music or to try a new, unique experience at a cheap price!

Sydney Symphony Orchestra is offering a wonderful opportunity to purchase a concert subscription package for your little lovers of classical music for three Sunday 2pm performances in March, May and October 2016. The first performance is by James Morrison, followed by The Composer is Dead and The Pied Piper of Hamelin.

Recommended Age: 6+
Dates: 20 March 2016
Venue: Sydney Opera House, Concert Hall
