The Hills are alive! The inaugural Sydney Open-Air Cinema is set to launch on Wednesday 1st April 2015 coinciding with the Easter School Holidays. The first of its kind for greater Sydney located in the historic surrounds of Heritage Park in Castle Hill.
Sydney’s newest and most exciting pop-up cinema will showcase 23 movies over 19 nights including kids’ flicks Big Hero 6, Paddington, Penguins, Frozen, Home and some great classics including Dirty Dancing!
You won’t find soggy pies and dagwood dogs at Sydney Open-Air Cinema thanks to the team at The Tuckshop. Arguably dishing up some of the best burgers in town and plenty more. Tuck into the street style food stall catering to the whole family with menu items such as a cheeseburger with all the trimmings served with old bay fries, or the sweet and sour chicken wings with a hint of fresh chilli that are finger licking good or something on the lighter side, a poached chicken salad with kale, avocado and egg. For the little tuckers there is the Tuckshop chicken bites- succulent and made from only the best local produce. A fully stocked Candy Bar will offer a range of sweet temptations and much loved hot buttered popcorn. Gelato Messina have also created two special edition choc-tops for the event, only available at the Open-Air Cinema.
