Sydney Living Museums are excited to have announced another exciting program of kids’ school holiday activities happening across many of their properties for Spring 2015!

Kids In The Kitchen: Damper & Butter (5-12yrs)
Kids can get their cook on churning butter and baking damper at Kids In The Kitchen: Damper & Butter, with workshops being held at Vaucluse House and Elizabeth Farm on both Mondays 21 & 28 September, and Fridays 25 Sept & 2 Oct during the holidays. BOOK HERE for Elizabeth Farm, BOOK HERE for Vaucluse House.Convict Escapades, Sydney Living Museum

Convict Escapades (5-12yrs)
Get ready for a choose-your-own-adventure, immersive theatrical experience at Hyde Park Barracks Museum as you complete a convict quest to earn your prized ‘ticket of leave’! Friday 25 – Sunday 27 September, 90-minute sessions at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm daily. BOOK HERE.

Mad Hatter’s Tea Party (5-12yrs)
Road tripping it anywhere near Nowra these holidays? Why not take a tour through the Victorian dining room at Meroogal (in Nowra) on Thursday 1 October, and learn how to set the table for dinner or tea! BOOK HERE.

Peachy Picnic (All Ages)
Peach Picnic_Sydney living museumsEnjoy a picnic of peaches and fruit cake on the paddock at Peachy Picnic at Rouse Hill House & Farm both Thursdays of the holidays, 24 Sept and 1 October, 11am-12.30pm. Play carnival sports and dress up to stage a story from the past. BOOK HERE.

Family Friendly Tours (All Ages)
Bring the family to visit the Sydney Living Museums’ historic houses these school holidays and join in special children & family tours – FREE with museum entry. All tours take place at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm and last approximately 30 mins. Please check individual museum pages for opening hours.
