Centennial Parklands comes alive with a fun-filled, action-packed program for kids this Spring school holidays.

Multi Sports Camps (6-13yrs)The Multi-Sport Camp will give children the opportunity to enjoy a variety of sports, including athletics track and field activities, utilise the Parklands fantastic sporting facilities and most importantly keep active and have fun!
Where:      ES Marks Athletics Field, entrance via Boronia Street, Moore Park
When:        27 – 29 September 2016; 9am-4pm
Cost:           $180 for 3 days


A Taste of Bush School (2.5-5yrs)
Climb trees, build cubbies, explore the great outdoors, make mud pies and discover different bugs. Led by CP’s expert team of Education Rangers, Bush School will inspire love for the natural world through games, bushcraft activities and stories.
Where:      Fearnley Grounds, off Grand Drive, Centennial Park
When:        29 September 2016; 9.30-11.30am
Cost:           $30 (1 child & 1 adult)


CP Bush Rangers (5-13yrs)
Led by the experienced team of Bush Rangers, children will enjoy a day of wildlife, bushcrafts, outdoor challenges, games and free play all in the great outdoors of Centennial Parklands. Activities are designed to allow children to play outside and to take part in problem solving and cooperative challenges.

When:        28 September & 5 October 2016; 9am-4pm

Kids vs Wild (5-12yrs)
Can you work out and follow the story behind the mysterious trail of animal evidence? Will you take the bush tucker challenge and find the right plants for the right survival situation?

Doomsday Science (8-14yrs)
What if everything fails? No more computers, phones or running water? Make generators and water filters, learn tricks of communication and codes in times of crisis. And what kind of doomsday scenario would be complete without zombies…

Park Detectives: Forensics Fun (5-12yrs)
This forensic science workshop will intrigue budding super sleuths who enjoy their science mixed with a bit of drama. This course is run by Fizzics Education and is presented by a science educator.

Creative A Buzz (8-14yrs)
Learn all about types of resistors, diodes, motors as we put them all together to makes interesting circuits that do really cool things. Investigate electrical and magnetic fields and how your body can conduct electricity – hair-raising” experience!
