Calling science enthusiasts of all sizes!  On August 13th you are invited to be part of the action at Super Science Saturday at the Australian Museum.

Bring the whole family for a day of fun as the Museum opens its doors and brings science to life for everyone.

As you move around the museum engage with animals at live animal shows. Extract DNA from fruit when you participate in hands-on experiments. Relax while you receive a face painted mask. Watch fiery demonstrations of science in action with the ‘Street Science’.

Show and discover what is lurking beneath the Earth’s crust with ‘Volcanoes, Eruptions and More’. Enter the interactive expo space where you can meet scientists from 20 organisations and discover more about the science you encounter every day. Investigate future technologies with drones, VR technology, robotics, and face recognition technology.

Say hello to our youngest member of staff, Winny, our resident toddler Muttaburrasaurus dinosaur. But watch out for her tail; she still hasn’t worked out just how big she is! Her curiosity is bound to get the better of her. We look forward to celebrating science with you at the Australian Museum.
