The Garden of Light and Shadow
Spark your child’s passion for nature by following a map to find the five trail stops. Along the way kids can enjoy fun hands-on activities to learn about some weird and amazing plants. If you answer the quiz questions you win a prize!

Botanists Way Discovery Centre
Head downstairs in the Visitor Centre to explore the history of the northern Blue Mountains: tales of daring and discovery, botany, canyons and of the traditional custodians, the Darug. Through interpretative signage and displays, high-quality photography and beautiful graphics you can discover the stories of early botanists who explored the northern Blue Mountains seeking rare plants.
Puppet Making and Theatre Workshop
Learn the art and skill of puppetry and performance! Kids will get to try out a selection of famous animal puppets before creating their own. By the end of the workshop, parents are invited to watch their magnificent puppet performance. Bookings essential.
