School holidays will go off with a Big Bang this Spring! From workshops to interactive activities, there is something for every budding scientist at the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney Observatory and the newly-reopened Museums Discovery Centre.

There are full day workshops exploring gaming, video making, coding, computer science and digital media, fascinating exhibitions as well as drop-in activities for all ages. Best of all, children under 16 years get FREE general admission!

Big bangs, particle smash and more at the Powerhouse Museum. Use your arms, legs and whole body to chase and catch virtual particles in this interactive projection on the walls of the Powerhouse. Get ready to witness an explosion every day, meet science experts (ask any question you like) and download our free Particle Hide and Seek AR game to uncover particles all over the Museum. Plus hands-on activities to get your mind racing and a play area for the littlest of scientific explorers.
Where:      Powerhouse Museum, 500 Harris Street, Ultimo
When:       24 September – 10 October 2016
Cost:          FREE
