Playground Sounds at The Australian Museum these holidays is silent disco that encourages kids to get up and dance!
These school holidays the Museum is celebrating mini-beasts to coincide with our current ‘Spiders: Alive and Deadly’ exhibition. In this special ‘Playground Sounds – Glow Worm Disco’ kids will learn dance moves from the Museum’s very own giant peacock spider and see the world in UV like some mini-beasts under fluorescent blacklights. Let your creative streak, literally shine, by creating decorations and body art that glows!
Participants wear a headset and choose between 3 channels of music from resident DJ’s. Movements are also tracked using wristbands that monitor heart rates.
A photographer will be capturing the fun to share with everyone.
Date: Wednesday 25 January
Time: 10am-11am AND 11am-12pm
