Celebrate the Year of the Sheep and Goat as Centenary Square transforms into Lunar Square for this free family-friendly twilight festival of live entertainment, traditional and contemporary music, puppets and dance.
This year experience an eclectic Asian music program showcasing traditional and modern sounds, from Chinese Opera to Korean Drumming, Australasian Pop, K-Pop, Vietnamese Traditional music and dance and more.
Go on a culinary journey tasting delicious dishes at food stalls from across Asia, from majestic China to beautiful Vietnam, from spectacular Korea to intriguing Mongolia and many other exotic lands, as well as an exciting popup bar.
Join in with the interactive family workshops including Chinese and Korean calligraphy and Asian paper folding and see roving entertainment including the Oriental Masks, the God of Fortune and mesmerising puppets.
Impressions of the Silk Road—Dancing in Chang’an by the Yuhualong Art Troupe and Chendu Puppetry and Shadow Play Art Theatre, both coming directly from Xi’an Province China.

Be wowed by the beautiful Chendu Puppetry and Shadow Play Art Theatre, spectacular Chinese dragon and lion dance with fire crackers, live Korean drumming and Korean dancers performing the colourful fan dance and don’t miss the fireworks.
