North Sydney Council is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year and to mark the occasion the Council is throwing one big party – a FREE community festival at St Leonards Park on Sunday 26 July.
The fun begins with a colourful circus playground for kids (and big kids) who want to learn a circus trick or two. There will also be an interactive community mural where you can paint and leave your mark.
The day will be filled with plenty of arts and craft, sustainability workshops, croquet and baseball activities. There will also be amusement rides including jumping castle, a bungee trampoline, a rock climbing wall and swinging chairs. Free facepainting and a Holtermanns Hunt- a fun and interactive clue-based challenge.
Activities, games, rides and workshops are FREE!
To make sure it really feels like a festival, there will be delicious food and live music by Godfrey Uke and His Orchestra, Jellybean Jam, Hi-Tops Brass Band and Aston Martinis.
Council is collaborating with Flat Rock Brew Cafe to serve the specially crafted ‘1890’ Pale Ale at a small bar at the Fair. You can also find it at select establishments in North Sydney during the month of July only.
