Pop-up Concerts with Zeeko (12-12.45pm; Atrium Stage)
The musicians of Zeeko are an eclectic rock band – with male and female voices, guitar, bass and percussion –  with influences ranging from bluegrass, the Caribbean, jazz and ambient music.

Pop-up Concerts with Teranga (1.30-2.15pm; Atrium Stage)
Teranga’s percussion-based African music is infectious, vibrant and a whole lot of fun! Come and join us and learn some West African Dance moves along the way!

Arts & Crafts with Musical Instruments
Construct a musical sculpture (11am-3pm; Level 1 Greenroom): Rescuing old instruments from the scrap heap and liberating them from forgotten spaces, we’re pulling them apart so you can create your very own ‘deconstructed sculptures’.

Paint a Piano (11am-3pm; The Conservatorium Forecourt): Let your inner Picasso go wild and help paint a piano upstairs on the Festival Forecourt.

Music Making
Try an instrument (11am-3pm; Recital Hall East): The musical instruments used by chamber musicians are as eclectic and wide-ranging as their sounds. Have the chance to get up close and have a go. We will have lots of instruments for you to try. You never know what you might discover!

Interactive Music Making with Musica Viva In Schools (11am-3pm; Recital Hall West): Using the wonderful Musica Viva In Schools resources, audience members young and old can come and try the digital music adventures and interactive composition iPads. There will be set group music making activities throughout the day.
