Sydney kids can part of the action this Autumn with Randwick Council’s Marine & Discovery Program a hands-on learning experience at amazing locations along Randwick’s spectacular coastline.

The coastal activities programs include a range of free and affordable activities aimed at helping families and children of all ages discover for themselves our unique marine and coastal environment

Saturday 18 April
Snorkelling - IntermediateGordons Bay
Time: 10:00am – 12:30pm
Cost: $15 per person (8 years+)

Snorkelling - BeginnersClovelly Bay
Time:1.30pm – 4.00pm
Cost: $15 per person (8 years+)

Experience snorkelling with local expert marine biologists. You’ll learn how to use the equipment properly and new snorkelling techniques while discovering and identifying the local marine life. Maybe you’ll discover a new aquatic species! Snorkelling gear provided as part of activity.
*Children under 16 must be accompanied in the water by an adult

Sunday 19 April
Rockpool Ramble – South Maroubra
Time: 1.00pm – 3.00pm
$5 per person (5 years+)

Discover the marine creatures of the South Maroubra rock platforms and inter-tidal zone. As the ocean retreats it leaves an abundant array of sea creatures on display which our local marine biologists will identify and discuss, explaining how each of us can minimise our impacts on these fragile beings.
*Children under 16 must be accompanied in the water by an adult
