Don’t miss the annual Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Art and Garden Festival in St Ives on Sunday 28 August, for a fun-filled family day!
There’s loads to do and see such as art and craft stalls in the expanded Artisan’s Market, talks by horticultural experts, native plant sales, wildflower displays, guided walks, exhibits by local businesses, food and drink stalls, a trackless train, pond dip netting, music and dance, children’s craft workshops , story-telling and an Australian wildlife display.
A highlight of this year’s festival following it’s success last year is the inaugural Sculpture Walk. Artists and sculptors are asked to demonstrate the use of natural or recycled materials in their artworks, which should be sympathetic to the Garden’s bushland environment.
Transport and parking
Street parking. Limited parking will be available at the Wildflower Garden. Traffic flow will be strictly one-way with entry from Richmond Avenue and exit via Council’s Nursery turning left onto Mona Vale Road.
There will be no shuttle buses this year. A trackless train will take patrons from the Visitor Centre to Caley’s Pavilion all day.
